Both refurbishment and demolition surveys are used to locate and describe, where practical, all ACMs present within a building. These types of surveys will most certainly include an inspection which is both intrusive and destructive, as this is necessary in order to enable our specialists to gain access to all areas. In certain circumstances, a refurbishment survey can target the areas which are most likely to be worst affected by the planned works, leaving the rest of the property undisturbed. Any asbestos located must be removed by a specialist prior to the commencement of any refurbishment work.
